Dante Fazio has over 19 years of experience working in digital audio and video. He holds a bachelor’s degree in audio production and engineering from Berklee College of Music and a master’s degree from the University of Colorado in Media Forensics. He is a member of the Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence (SWGDE) and is currently Vice Chair of the audio committee, a member of the digital multimedia sub-committee for the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC), and was Chair of the 2024 Audio Engineering Society 8th International Conference on Audio Forensics which was held in Denver, CO.
Dante specializes in forensic examinations of digital audio, video, and images, and offers objective and scientific litigation support for civil, criminal, and private matters. Dante has testified in both civilian and military trials, and has worked on hundreds of cases across the nation involving allegations such as theft, assault, fraud, homicide, wrongful death, child exploitation, invasion of privacy, harassment, medical malpractice, city ordinance violations, and other criminal and civil matters.
In addition he holds several certifications from Cellebrite and Magnet forensics, including CCO, CCPA, MCEA, and MCAE, and is well trained in mobile device forensic acquisitions and analysis.
